Technical Document Review

In addition to offering our other technical services, B3PE offers technical document review services. In the course of over 30 years of providing services to the Natural Gas Industry we have relied on information from a variety of technical documents. 

Inevitably, we have discovered errors in the technical information provided in these documents. We offer an editing and proofreading service to review your technical documents. More than a grammatical or editorial review, we offer a review of the technical aspects of the document that includes checking your equations, formulas, charts, graphs, and diagrams. Our experienced technical staff understands the purpose of these documents, how they are used, and the content they contain. 

What We Review

If you are responsible for creating or developing any of the following documents, we can review them and help you make them great. Some of the documents that we review include:

Our Review Includes

• Content - Professional review of the technical subject matter including equations, formulas, charts, graphs, and diagrams, industry standards and reference checks, and identification of factual and logical mistakes. 
• Editorial - Review for correct spelling, grammar, syntax errors, incorrect punctuation, and continuity. 
• Structural - Review for consistent and appropriate design, layout, and organization. 
• Formatting - Review for consistency of fonts, sections, spacing, and terminology. 

We do not revise your document. We provide an annotated mark-up of the provided document in the form of a Technical Review Report (in PDF format). The report and mark-up will describe our findings, including notes, suggested revisions, and edits.

Requirements

We do have a few requirements for our review: 

• The document must be written in the English language, preferably using US style English. 
• The document must be provided in electronic format. 
• For printed or published documents, PDF format is preferred, however most word processing formats are also acceptable. 
• For unpublished websites or webpages PDF or HTML format is preferred.

Pricing

Every document is different, so establishing a generic pricing scheme would be difficult. If you send us a copy of the document to be reviewed, we can provide an estimate of the review cost.
